How can I watch Mobile Ed content offline?

By default, your Mobile Ed resources require a high-speed internet connection. This is to save space on your device. When you play a Mobile Ed video, the content is cached to your device (saved in temporary storage) so that when you watch that video again in the future Verbum will play the content from that locally cached data rather than from the internet. Once you clear your cache, however, any video content stored there will be erased.

But thankfully, you can tell Verbum to download your Mobile Ed course content to your device where it won’t get cleared accidentally. Here’s how.

Skip ahead to:

Open your course’s video content from the Library. From there:

  1. Navigate to the course’s Overview page.
  2. Open the panel menu by clicking the icon.
  3. Click Download All Media.

Note: You can remove your downloaded media by repeating the steps above. When you open the panel menu, you’ll see that Download All Media has become Delete Downloaded Media.

With your Mobile Ed course open,

  1. Tap the panel menu icon on the upper right.
  2. Tap Book Info.

  3. Tap Media Downloads.
  4. Tap Download All on the upper right.

Note: You can remove your downloaded media by repeating the steps above. When you open Media Downloads, you’ll see the option to Remove All. You can also remove individual videos by tapping the delete icon [icon] for the ones you want to remove.
