You can adjust how your text appears in Verbum by changing both the font and font size.
Note: This feature is available to all users.
Change the Font
You can change what font your text appears in through the Text Display options. To access the Text Display options, click the main toolbar's More Actions Menu icon and select Program Settings.
Once you have opened Program Settings, scroll down to Text Display.
You will notice several different display options in this section, but the font selections are the ones at the top. Expand the dropdown menu for Default Book Font to view all of the available options (there are many).
Tip: Fonts are not just assigned at random to a text; a lot of work has gone into creating and curating fonts for a variety of purposes. When you select a font, consider how you intend to read the text. For example, sans serif fonts are typically best for digital viewing, whereas serif fonts are often preferred for print.
Change the Font Size
If you want to adjust the font size in a book, first navigate to the View tab in the book's Dynamic Toolbar. You may need to click More to find the tab if your book does not fill the whole display. Then, click the Font Size dropdown and adjust the font size and content scaling by clicking or

Adjust the Font Settings in a Book
1. Tap View Settings in the More Actions Menu.
While viewing any resource, tap the More Actions Menu icon and select View Settings.
2. Change the font size.
Drag the top slider right or left to increase or decrease the size.
Note: Text in open resources from your library will display your newly chosen font size. Text size adjustments do not show in Guides, Prayer Lists, Reading Plans, and other Verbum documents.
3. Change the font.
Beneath the sliders, tap Fonts to access the available font options. This include options for surface text as well as Greek and Hebrew text.
Adjust Font Settings in Notes
You can manually adjust the font size of each Note from the text options. With any note open, tap the text options icon and increase or decrease the font size.
To adjust the font, tap Font under the formatting toolbar and select from Serif, Sans Serif, or Monospace.
