Keyboard Shortcuts (Windows)
Keyboard shortcuts can provide a significant time savings over using your mouse. To speed up tasks you do regularly, try some of the keyboard shortcuts listed below.
Keyboard Shortcuts (Mac)
This help article abbreviates the names of two keys:

These keyboard shortcuts are available throughout macOS.
Cmd+C — Copy
Cmd+H — Hide windows
Cmd+M — Minimize
Cmd+P — Open Print/Export panel
Cmd+Q — Quit Active App
Cmd++ — Zoom in
Cmd+- — Zoom out
Cmd+V — Paste
Cmd+W — Close
Cmd+X — Cut
Cmd+Z — Undo
Cmd+Tab — Unhide windows
Shift+Cmd+G — Opens the “Go to Folder” window (use this to open hidden folders)
Shift+Cmd+Z — Redo
Verbum-Specific
These keyboard shortcuts are specific to Verbum.
Backspace — Clear Page in Drawing Mode
Caps Lock — Toggles the Keyboard Selector between the default language and an original language
Cmd+ Enter — In a Bible Search: Opens the selected Bible to the displayed verse
Cmd+ Delete — In a Bible Search: Removes the selected Bible from displayed results
Cmd+D — Add current location to Favorites
Cmd+F — Find (in this panel)
Cmd+G — Go to reference box of current resource/guide
Cmd+K — Apply Highlighting
Cmd+L — Show Library
Cmd+O — Open/close Documents menu
Cmd+R — Read Aloud
Cmd+W — Close current panel
Cmd+ Y — Open History Tool
Cmd+[ — Back in History
Cmd+] — Forward in History
Cmd+‘ — Go to next window (moves between floating windows and main window)
Cmd+1…9 — Navigate to Quick Link (1–9)
Cmd+F8 — Enter Drawing Mode (on some keyboards, Fn+Cmd+F8 may be necessary)
Cmd+Down arrow — End (e.g., last article)
Cmd+Up arrow — Home (e.g., title page)
Cmd+T — Open new tab
Ctrl+Cmd+ Space — Toggle between keyboards in the Keyboard Selector
Ctrl+Tab — Go to next tab
Ctrl+Shift+Tab — Go to previous tab
Esc — Dismiss / Exit Drawing mode / Exit Find box
F4 (requires Logos Pro Early Access) — Toggle the application theme between Light and Dark mode
F7 — Quick comparison of the active verse/selected text
Left arrow — Navigate to previous parallel book
Right arrow — Navigate to next parallel book
Opt+Cmd+ B — Open Copy Bible Verses tool in a floating window

Text Editor
The following shortcuts apply to the Notes text editor.
Cmd+A — Select All
Cmd+B — Bold
Cmd+C — Copy
Cmd+I — Italic
Cmd+K — Insert Hyperlink
Cmd+U — Underline
Cmd+V — Paste
Cmd+X — Cut
Cmd+Z — Undo
Cmd+Shift+U — Toggle Strikethrough (not currently supported)
Cmd+Shift+Z — Redo
Copy Bible Verses
Shift+Cmd+J — Global shortcut to activate the Copy Bible Verses service on macOS. This service causes the Copy Bible Verses tool to open in a floating window from any macOS application (if Verbum is running).

Alt+left arrow — Go back
Alt+right arrow — Go forward
Alt+F4 — Close program
Alt+Spacebar — Activate window menu
Ctrl+= — Zoom in
Ctrl+- — Zoom out
Ctrl+A — Select all
Ctrl+C — Copy
Ctrl+P — Opens the Print/Export dialog
Ctrl+T — Open new tab

Use the following shortcut keys with your text selected, to quickly add or remove annotations:
H – Applies the last used highlighting style (i.e. it behaves like CTRL/CMD+K).
R – Removes annotations.
