As you study your way through a passage of Scripture, you may want to create a series of notes and highlights recording your observations, questions, and discoveries. Notebooks allow you to organize these notes and highlights into one place, even if your research spans dozens of different resources.
Note: It’s possible to have notes that are not connected to a notebook, just as it’s possible for notebooks to be empty.
Note: This feature is available to all users.

Create a Homily Notebook
You can add notes to a homily-specific notebook right from the Homily Builder. These can be notes to yourself regarding what worked and what didn’t, or they can be the place you store observations and discoveries as you prepare your homilies. A homily notebook is a regular notebook, but linked to a particular homily.
To start a new homily notebook:

- Expand the Information pane by clicking the information icon

- Click New note.
That’s it! Your new note is automatically saved in a new notebook with the same name as your homily title.
Note: If you already have a notebook created that you'd like to link to a homily, click the Notebook Dropdown next to the New note button and choose your notebook from the menu.
Note: When you’re working on a homily document, you can also fill your homily with existing notes from any notebook. For help adding existing notes to a homily document, see the support article on the Homily Builder.
