If you are having difficulty using or navigating specific books, it is likely that you are using outdated versions of those resources. Performing a sync will get them up to date.
Please do the following:

Confirm sure the device is on a solid (and fast) Wi-Fi connection. It is important to use Wi-Fi, and not the data network provided by the devices service provider for your mobile device.
- Restart the Logos app.
- Press the Menu icon (looks like three horizontal lines) in the lower-right corner of the app. Scroll down to “Sync Your Data” and tap on it. It will start spinning.
- Wait until the animation stops before trying to use the App again.
