Verbum and Windows 10 Support

Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After that date, Windows 10 will no longer receive improvements and security updates will be limited.

What you should do

  • Upgrade to Windows 11 if your PC supports it

    1. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security.

    2. Click Check for updates to see if Windows 11 is available for your PC.

  • If your PC can’t run Windows 11, enroll in Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. ESU is free for most home users, but is a paid upgrade for organizations.

What happens after Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10?

  • Verbum requires a supported version of Windows or macOS. However, as a courtesy, it will be possible to install new versions of Verbum on Windows 10 for a limited time after October 14, 2025.

  • Verbum technical support for Windows 10 will be limited after October 14. We will support where we can, but we won't be able to offer help for crashes or bug reports, or escalate problems to our technical team.

How long will this continue?

  • We expect new versions of Verbum to be able to be installed on Windows 10 into 2026.

  • We will try to give at least 12 weeks’ notice before ending this courtesy, though if a major issue occurs only on Windows 10, this might not be possible.

  • When new versions of Verbum can no longer be installed, you will still be able to use your existing Logos version, but over time:

    • Some new books may not be available.

    • Some online features may stop working.

What if I can't upgrade or buy a new computer?

The Verbum web app will remain available to customers using unsupported versions of Windows or macOS in up-to-date browsers .
