Minimum System Requirements

The following are the minimum system requirements to install and open Verbum Bible Software.  Hardware configurations with higher performance in mind will lead to a better experience. See Recommended Hardware Specifications for hardware that should lead to increased performance.

Windows 10 64-bit "Anniversary Update" (Version 1607) or later1

Windows 11

Not compatible with:

Windows 8.1 and earlier

Beta versions of Windows

Windows RT

Surface Pro X platform

An ARM-based processor

2GB Random Access Memory (RAM)  
1024 x 768 Display Lowering system scaling can reduce display resolution
30 GB of free space

Must be internal Hard Drive or Solid State Drive (may require additional space depending on library size)

High speed internet (for activation, updates, and some features) 1

Verbum both streams content and downloads files from the internet, so it is those activities that you will want to make sure your internet speeds can accomplish. Here is the FCC's guidance outlining required speeds for those tasks, and here is a tool to test your current download rate.
