How Do I Update Verbum?
Whether you're trying to update Verbum to the latest version of the software, or wondering where a recently purchased resource is, this article will show you how to make sure Verbum and the library are up to date.
Make sure Verbum is up to date
macOS

Open Verbum.

To the left of the
icon click Verbum > About Verbum Bible Software. - The color indicator next to "Software" will be green if Verbum is up to date; red if it is not up to date.
If Verbum is not up to date, click here to download and install an update to Verbum.
Windows

Open Verbum.

In the top-right corner of the toolbar click the toolbar menu (three vertical dots) or the question mark icon (Verbum 7).

Click About Verbum Bible Software

The color indicator next to "Software" will be green if Verbum is up to date; red if it is not up to date.
If Verbum is not up to date, click here to download and install an update to Verbum.
Make sure the Library is up to date
- Open Verbum.
- Type update resources into the bar at the top of the window.
Verbum 8 - Use the single bar to the left of the Go button.
Verbum 7 - This will say the word Command in it. - Click Update resources below the word Tools that appears.
- Verbum will look for update to resources (books and other library files) in your library, and download them automatically.
